So this has been a couple of really eventful days. Let's see here. I'm just gonna talk about a whole bunch of random things, in no particular order, because I can't remember what order it's supposed to be in.
So....I now have bright red hair. Well half of it is bright red. Megan and I thought we would be super smart and dye our hair, so we scampered on down to the store and bought some bright red hair dye. So I put red on the tips and underneath my bangs, so when it moves it shows a little bit underneath. Well it didn't quite turn out that way. The bangs look really nice, but the tips turned out slightly awkward. Oh well. I'm over it. I really don't care what people think anyway, I did it for me, so I'm okay with it.
Well Megan and I were really bored the other night, so we went on down to Wal-Mart and went on a picture adventure!! I know, it sounds lame. But it was ridiculously fun. We took lots and lots of pictures, and eventually got kicked out cause the lady caught us as we were getting out of the milk fridge.
Tomorrow night I'm going camping!! John, Ron, Sean, Jade, Trevor, Megan and I are going to Mayfield to camp tomorrow night. It's gonna freaking be a party.
Alright, story time.
The owner/operator of my work's name is Dave Parrish. Dave had two sons, Dave Jr. and Mark Parrish. Mark was lined up to take over Dave's St. George store, and Dave Jr. was lined up to take over the Ephraim store, that I work at. So Dave Jr. was killed in a car accident right outside Ephraim McDonalds about two years ago. It was a really terrible accident. So now the legend has it that McDonalds is haunted.
Now, I've never really believed in this sort of thing, but this place is pretty creepy. Here a few examples of what have happened:
-Ya know that song that has creepy laughing at the front of it? I think it's by The Gorillaz? Well one time we were out in lobby about to leave, and that exact same laugh started coming from back drive! There was absolutely no one back there, and no way to play music or any other things. Creepy.
-Random things just happen by themselves, like toilets flushing and stuff banging around in playland.
-The other day I opened, so I was there at about 4:45. I walked into the freezer, and one corner the light is always out. I started gathering the stuff I needed. Ya know when it's cold outside and you can see your breath? I looked over in the corner and there was breath going in and out, but no one there. Then a FREAKING BOX FELL RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE. It almost hit me. It's something weird going on.
-Lastly, just the other night Dawn and I were closing. We were both in the office and we kept hearing things. All of a sudden, we heard a loud persistent banging. We looked out the office door and the door to the fridge was being banged on over and over again. A garbage can tipped over right in front of us. There was NO ONE else in the store to have done it. And the door was moving right in front of us. You better believe we booked it right out of there. It was one of the most frightening experiences of my life.
Well all these stories had a point. John and Megan and I decided we wanted to do a Ouija board in playland and talk to Dave Jr. So we whipped one out. John went out to his car and grabbed a shot glass, and I drew the board and we started. WE all put our fingers on the glass and did the little chant....and waited. Nothing happened. It was super anti=climactic.
Well the end of the semester is about to kill me. I have a ridiculous amount of stuff to do in the next week, and if I don't do well, I'll lose my scholarship. I'm kind of scared.
I know there was something else I wanted to put here, but I can't really remember....so I'll do another one later.
