I love sundays, as the title says. Not because I get to go to church and "feel the spirit," but because it's a big huge catch-up day! I can catch up on my sleep, on my homework, on more sleep, and do everything I need to do, but I've been putting off all week.
This lovely Sunday I am doing quite a bit. I have started packing up to go home, because I'm leaving on Thursday. I made study guides for every single one of my finals, cleaned my bedroom, and slept in a good four hours later than I normally do.
Oh and I suppose Saturdays are pretty excellent for that as well. I got home from camping at eight, took a long shower, and then slept from ten-thirty am to eight thirty pm. I was so proud of myself :)
Well, camping was quite the adventure. I had promised Jade that if he came up camping with us I wouldn't drink. Well....I didn't do so hot on that one. We all went up around seven and got drunk, except for Trev. Megan was more smashed than I had ever seen her before. Ever. She was rolling around in the freezing cold mud and just being a weird-ass in general. Then we all went back down to Ephraim to get more firewood and our lovely friend Jade. I tried as hard as I could to pretend that I was sober, but I didn't do a very good job of it. Because he found out that I drank before he came up. Apparently, I am a terrible drunk. haha. oh well.
Well, finals week is this week!! I could not be more excited for a school year to end. I want to go home and play with all my friends and have hours of bliss in the warm amazing lovely sun!! And get tan and play and go to bear lake and just have a great time. And go to the DMB and 311 concerts!! I can't even wait for this summer to begin. I have my final final on Thursday at 10:30, and then after that I am out of E-town for 4 months! Oh my I'm ecstatic over this. I can't even wait!!

All you need is love!!*
So this has been a couple of really eventful days. Let's see here. I'm just gonna talk about a whole bunch of random things, in no particular order, because I can't remember what order it's supposed to be in.
So....I now have bright red hair. Well half of it is bright red. Megan and I thought we would be super smart and dye our hair, so we scampered on down to the store and bought some bright red hair dye. So I put red on the tips and underneath my bangs, so when it moves it shows a little bit underneath. Well it didn't quite turn out that way. The bangs look really nice, but the tips turned out slightly awkward. Oh well. I'm over it. I really don't care what people think anyway, I did it for me, so I'm okay with it.
Well Megan and I were really bored the other night, so we went on down to Wal-Mart and went on a picture adventure!! I know, it sounds lame. But it was ridiculously fun. We took lots and lots of pictures, and eventually got kicked out cause the lady caught us as we were getting out of the milk fridge.
Tomorrow night I'm going camping!! John, Ron, Sean, Jade, Trevor, Megan and I are going to Mayfield to camp tomorrow night. It's gonna freaking be a party.
Alright, story time.
The owner/operator of my work's name is Dave Parrish. Dave had two sons, Dave Jr. and Mark Parrish. Mark was lined up to take over Dave's St. George store, and Dave Jr. was lined up to take over the Ephraim store, that I work at. So Dave Jr. was killed in a car accident right outside Ephraim McDonalds about two years ago. It was a really terrible accident. So now the legend has it that McDonalds is haunted.
Now, I've never really believed in this sort of thing, but this place is pretty creepy. Here a few examples of what have happened:
-Ya know that song that has creepy laughing at the front of it? I think it's by The Gorillaz? Well one time we were out in lobby about to leave, and that exact same laugh started coming from back drive! There was absolutely no one back there, and no way to play music or any other things. Creepy.
-Random things just happen by themselves, like toilets flushing and stuff banging around in playland.
-The other day I opened, so I was there at about 4:45. I walked into the freezer, and one corner the light is always out. I started gathering the stuff I needed. Ya know when it's cold outside and you can see your breath? I looked over in the corner and there was breath going in and out, but no one there. Then a FREAKING BOX FELL RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE. It almost hit me. It's something weird going on.
-Lastly, just the other night Dawn and I were closing. We were both in the office and we kept hearing things. All of a sudden, we heard a loud persistent banging. We looked out the office door and the door to the fridge was being banged on over and over again. A garbage can tipped over right in front of us. There was NO ONE else in the store to have done it. And the door was moving right in front of us. You better believe we booked it right out of there. It was one of the most frightening experiences of my life.
Well all these stories had a point. John and Megan and I decided we wanted to do a Ouija board in playland and talk to Dave Jr. So we whipped one out. John went out to his car and grabbed a shot glass, and I drew the board and we started. WE all put our fingers on the glass and did the little chant....and waited. Nothing happened. It was super anti=climactic.
Well the end of the semester is about to kill me. I have a ridiculous amount of stuff to do in the next week, and if I don't do well, I'll lose my scholarship. I'm kind of scared.
I know there was something else I wanted to put here, but I can't really remember....so I'll do another one later.

"Just Be Yourself."
So every time I go into some sort of new social situation I am told to "be myself." But as cliche as this sounds, I'm not quite sure who that is at this point in time. I feel like I've always put up fronts with people. Not something completely fake and ridiculous, but I just edit my behaviors depending on who I'm around.
When I'm with my AP Gov and Debate friends I always try to act smart. I laugh at their jokes even when they're not funny or I don't fully understand them. I always try to be witty and try to be knowledgeable even though it's probably evident that I'm not.
When I'm with my "athlete" friends, baseball and basketball are everything. We don't talk about anything else, and I act as if I'm fine with this.
With my drama friends I always make my actions a little bigger, my voice a little louder, and make myself stand out more.
With David and Texas is when I feel the most at ease, but I still cannot decide if that is "who I really am" or if I am just putting up a front with them as well.
It sounds super cheesy, but I'm not really sure at this point of who I am. What I do know is a couple of things that i'm not.
I'm not:
-religious
-stupid
-a stoner
-a political guru
-a performer/talented
-a singer/actor
-an athlete
-an emo
-a goth
-a prep
I don't fit into any of the stereotypes, which sometimes makes me wonder where I fit in at all. It's all extremely confusing.

ST. GEEEEEZY
So I'm sitting here in BEAUTIFUL St. George. I absolutely love it. I want to move down here so bad, but it's really not happening. I already missed the deadline for scholarship applications, so even though I'm eligible for one, I can't get into next year. It's super frustrating.
Anyway. I'm staying with my wonderful friend Cydne! I miss her so much. She is so amazing and I"m so grateful for her. We went to watch softball games today but it started freaking hailing and we had to leave. Again super frustrating. All my plans have been thwarted lately.
Now I'm at my friend Alexa's apartment! And i absolutely adore her. I met her during junior year, and actually hated her at first. So much. But now she's one of my closest friends, and I'm so grateful for her as well. She's really amazing.
I freaking got a ticket the other day. Holy anger. I got pulled over going 94 in a 75. Luckily, my ticket was only for 80 in a 75. I got off unbelievably easy.
I don't really want to leave here, because it is absolutely gorgeous currently. But I have to trek up north where it's going to be frigid and ridiculous. I'll definitely miss it here!

All you need to know
Well, since my last post was kind of negative, we'll make this one positive. I'm just your average girl, enrolled in college, loving life. I've had a past, but I think everyone has something they're not proud of. The important thing is that you've learned from it, which I have. I'm enrolled at Snow College, which is extremely small, but overall enjoyable. I'm taking softball, criminal justice, spanish, institute, sociology, psychology, family relations, and anthropology, for a grand total of twenty-two credits. It's a lot, but i love it. I work at Mcdonalds, and close three or four times a week. That's really about it.
Well, last night I got off work at ten-thirty and john and ron invited me to come back and play football. so i decided i would and went back to the mcdonalds parking lot at about twelve-thirty. we finished up the close and then me, megan, sancho, miguel, ron, sean, john and trevor played football. it was so much fun! we just played four on four and went to five before we switched up teams. the team i was on won every time which i was extremely surprised about. we played until about four this morning. i woke up unbelievably sore, but it was so much fun.
My roommate has these two random girls staying with us this weekend and i am not a fan. They are ridiculous. They are obsessed with smallville and stupid fake soap operas, which i do not enjoy. and they like having tea parties? i don't even know. it bugs. but luckily i won't have to deal with them too much tonight. i'm working from five to seven and then going on a date with john!! which i am incredibly excited for.
The only other exciting news in my life is that next week is spring break!!! only five more days of classes until i get to party it up! on friday i'm going to st. george to stay with cydne for the weekend and watch our old high school softball team in a tournament. then i'm driving back up north on monday and going to bear lake with mandy, alli, sarah and lauryn. it should be fun. i was going to go to california with my bff david but then he got arrested and now he can't cross state lines. duuumb. but oh well. we're going on a kick ass summer trip so it's all good :)
