My Dad

My dad....is awesome. We drove my sister to her first stake dance tonight, and after that just stayed out driving around and talking. We were both really open with each other, which doesn't usually happen. I told him I was thinking about getting my nose pierced and what his thoughts were on it. We talked about my tattoo and about his family and our thoughts on them. We aren't usually that open with each other. We talk about things, but then they tend to be shoved in a corner and ignored. So it was nice. We watched the movie Red, and he just looked at me and put his hand on my shoulder and said "I'm really glad you're my daughter."

Day 16: Someone who inspires you

Heather Armstrong, aka Dooce
She's incredibly funny, and is one of my favorite people to read about. She pretty much hit rock bottom and she worked her way all the way back to the top to become extremely successful. She has a beautiful family, and she's not afraid to share her thoughts and beliefs, no matter what the backlash is. She took a talent she had and turned it into quite a profitable business for herself, which I admire.

Day 15: Something you want to do before you die

I really want to go on an archaeological dig. I think it would be so freaking cool to dig around in the dirt looking for stuff. I know that sounds weird.....but it's a dream of mine :)

Day 14: A person you could never imagine your life without

My mama and papa. :) They're always there for me, and even though we fight, I still count on them a lot and talk to them regularly.
Love them.
